Justin Lees Paintings

As a mixed media artist, I feel inspired to create by the environment that surrounds me and how I am able to interact with it. This can come in many forms; from figurative pieces to more abstract works. I enjoy using a range of materials to create my pieces - typically cardboard art and oil painting. 

Recently I have found inspiration from Brutalist architecture and purity of shape. Being in my 50s I am appreciating the passage of time and through my art look to bring pleasure and curiosity to the viewer.
