As a mixed media artist, I feel inspired to paint by the environment that surrounds me and how I am able to interact with it. This can come in many forms; from landscapes to more abstract works. I enjoy using a range of materials to create my art and at present I am exploring cardboard and wood as materials of choice. Recently New York and Oslo have been the inspiration for my paintings after a couple of exhilarating visits to these incredible cities.

However, during lock down I found myself inspired by what was on my doorstep. I have developed new ideas using objects from home to create more geometric abstract pieces constructed from items found in my rickety shed, garage and garden. My garden art continues to evolve along with my cardboard and MDF pieces which use recycled materials that I have collected.

Please email me using the Contact tab if you wish to make an inquiry about any of my work or would like to commission a painting.

I also have a blog which charts my work in progress and includes a shop. Go to: https://marcel.pt/justinleespaintings
